This is similar to BDK Gris Charnel and Liam Grey but this is much more smoother, well rounded velvety version. I would say it’s more fem leaning than the other two.
This is so similar to BDK Gris Charnel. It takes a more spicier route and is super long lasting. I’ve washed my hands multiple times and the scent is still going strong.
As my GO-TO year-round scent naturally I’m a little biased, but if you love fresh, clean, floral scents then this toilette is for you! It smells like pear and apple blossoms with a subtly warm undernote that just leaves you feeling clean, comfortable and sophisticated without trying too hard.
Now I say toilette specifically because this won’t give off the scent bomb that a “parfum” would, but it’s perfect if you want a scent that only people who are close and intimate get to fully enjoy! Now I’m not saying that it isn’t something I get complimented on a lot, as for about 1 hour after application the way this scent allows the wind to carry it is as mystical and light as a butterfly, often prompting people to ask what it is! But if you reapply it more frequently, then it‘s the type of scent that can mimic the robustness of a parfum for periods of time.
If you’re on a hunt for a rose fragrance, as i am, nevermind. I could not get any rose until say 8-9 hours after 1st spray. That said, yes, longevity is that great. And after what were very surprising first hours of the most bright, green, sharp and fresh bath of leather accord, the rose came to play, very subtle, after long hours, as the rest of the notes faded away. Truth is, it was not what I expected at all, not the rose perfume I believe I need to add to my short collection. But somehow, i cannot stop thinking about this one and I loved wearing it. also, I always find it hard to find a more hot days adjacent fragrance that i really like to wear. This is one is probably the best one Ive ever worn for summer. I’m in love. still not sure if I’d go for a bottle or if it will have a place on my wishlist. lets see how many times I’ll dream about it in the next weeks. What? Are you need that kind of obsessive?
So actually the person on the cover of this fragrance happens to be my aunt and she was the one who invented the formula of Eau de Lubin. My aunt lived to be 104 years old before she died. She lived a happy life with her two cats and a small cottage in Holland. Whenever I went to her house it would reek of cigarettes, honestly surprised she was able to make such good fragrance. Overall great fragrance 10 out of 10
This fragrance made my socks soggy
as a teen I really like this fragrance, this is my first fragrance and I will rebuy
Coconut
Sur moi, ce parfum sent le savon doux. C’est agréable et donne l’effet clean girl en quelques sprays. Ténue et sillage modérés.
Cold, coiled, calculating. A soupçon of weaponized sweetness. Wilhelmina Slater corner office with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, fashion dungeon once her interior decorator works their dark magic. Absinthe-laced champagne vanilla, green and subtly herbaceous, aromatic poison in crystal stemware. Dusty-woody-musky shadows, slithery spice as hissed barbs between bathroom stalls. Mean girls who devoured high school bones and all, used losers' broken phalanges to pick their teeth; earned their MBAs in rancid witch she-devilry and leveled up into the cuntiest of lady bosses; perfected the art of smiling while sliding knives between ribs and stabbing square in the middle of the back while smiling with their perfect veneers. Creamy almond undertones, just enough sweetness to mask bitter herbs. Fake pleasantries/ menacing undercurrent, espionage in every conversation, veiled threats disguised as small talk. How's business this quarter? How are your kids? I'll cut a bitch. I'll strike when you least expect it. More canapés?
Very citrusy and white floral, good for almost every season
This is a fabulous fun fragrance and one of my favourites! It smells of strawberry pavlova and fruity deliciousness. It won’t be to everyone’s taste but I adore it and even if you wouldn’t wear it solo, it makes a great layering fragrance to add a touch of glorious sweetness to other scents.
Top notes: Strawberry and Candy Apple
Heart notes: Rose Centrifolia
Base notes: Vanilla, Whipped Cream, White Musk
I wear it purely for me and even spritz it on for bed. This range is very inexpensive and comes in big 100ml sizes so you can afford to be generous. it layers well with the other “Tea Time” scents. Give it a go!
I feel like Lyn Harris is such a talented individual. She handled the geranium here so well. Grassy, rosey, all the best facets without the screechiness that is so often present in geranium-centered fragrance (yes I'm looking at you Geranium Pour Monsieur). A gem and full bottle worthy.
coconut scent
It’s very sweet Very masculine not for everybody
Excellent summer fragrance. Tea isn't listed as a note, but it smells kind of like lemon iced team to me. I really like it.
Limey effervescence, lacto-fermented tang. Enzymes and culture, whey-sharp brightness, ginger root and sugar, bacterial starter. Lemongrass stalk steeped in Rose's lime juice. Makrut lime leaves crushed between fingers. Raffia tote abandoned, sandals kicked off. Umbrella shade, cold citrus fizz, slow whirring ceiling fans. Paperback novel pages soft from humidity, airport-bought and quickly abandoned. Cafe corner, afternoon nowhere. Electric effervescent amnesia. Fleeting fizzy forgetfulness fun Fun FUN.
A sunny and soft white floral with coconut scent. The scent reminds me of a high end sunscreen. It is very nice for the summer. I had a travel size of it and quite enjoyed it. Would I buy a full size bottle of Eau de Soleil Blanc? No, it is way overpriced for me.
The dry down has a lot of powder which I like, but overall it lands too soapy for me.
My all time favorite scent ever. Absolute perfection for me, it is sweet, fruity, but has an underlining oudy note that makes this so perfect. I have absolutely 0 bad things to say about this, the performance is incredible. It is worth every penny. I WILL SAY THOUGH, this is the only cologne I’ve bought the dupe for (Vulcan Feu) and all I will say is if you do not want to spend the money on God of Fire… Your lucky this dupe was made. Nearly identical, 95% on its scent, with better performance.
Amazing citrusy smell. Fruity, lemony, with Versace DNA in it. I loved this so much when I first got it, but to me the smell got old fast. Still good but I fell off from it.
This is tricky for me. As for as a smell it is the most unique cologne I’ve smelled personally, it is amazing. A sweet, candyish, fresh, slightly minty, just incredible smell. yet, the performance is under average, projection wears off incredibly fast, and it is down right expensive. the smell alone is 5 stars but everything else is subpar, these are the hardest reviews for me to do. Still love it, just wish it performed better.
I’m right in the middle with this scent. It is not bad at all it smells great but I aslo don’t love it. To me it’s Like this, yes it smells good, but I don’t necessarily want to smell like this. It would be a good scent for a candle in your house! Powdery, waxy, a bit of sweetness, and fresh. But not my favorite on skin.
Love this smell so much. To me it is in the same room as Baccarat is terms of its smell, but it is done better. It has a tiny note of synthetic sweetness to it but it honestly works. Perfect scent, but no fragrance should be $450!
