This is one of the yummy scents my woman says I own. The silliage is amazing she described it like Pepe Le Pew trailing me around. This is my forever date night scent
Nice amber but it has something in there almost like althair but nothing as sweet it's not in the vinilla but whatever helps make it amber. The silliage is where it's at with this.
Clive Christian knocked it out of the park with this fragrance. The only gripe i have its not worth the retail look for it on discounters or get a decant 600 is just to much for any fragrance
Blonde Amber has always been one of the most popular releases from Clive Christian, but in the past year especially it has exploded into popularity - I blame TikTok. A lot of people have said this is the best cold weather fragrance on the market; it’s not, not by a long shot. It’s still enjoyable though; the overbearing sweetness of dried fruits and smooth tonka compliment the dry tobacco and smoky resins very well, with just a touch of booziness to keep it interesting. However, as is often the case with Clive Christian, it doesn’t smell nearly as expensive as it actually is. £500 for this is obscene, I wouldn’t pay over £150 for it and good luck finding it at that price. I enjoy this scent but there’s just a lingering smell of cheapness underneath everything that I like about it, once again I really don’t know why this has been hyped so much.
A copy of Fusion Sacree Obscur by the talented Bertrand Duchaufour, right down to that fricking amazing bitter/herbal celery - caramel opening, at double or triple the price point of a 125ml bottle for a 50ml bottle. You are paying extra for some fancy cardboard box and some of that extra cloying amber accord at the base. Skip this one, or skip the whole house cause you can find a similar scent for almost every bottle in the collection.
Really nice blend, soft and first breath is like I’m in the heaven. After for a while I find this a little bit cloying and I really don’t know why. I wanted to like this so much but I don’t. Normally I love this kind of scents. It’s anyway well blended, round scent because it’s difficult to separate a single notes which there is many. After testing MANY times (I was thinking some miracle happens like with Xerjoff's perfumes which I adore after a couple weeks testing) I still feel the same. Opening is nice and interesting but after that it just start to be really cloying. EDIT: As I have been still testing this and I noticed now comparisons to Angel’s Share and Straight To Heaven but I don’t find ANY similarities. Cloying blend in overall, the mix of dried fruits, Tuberose and Amber doesn't work here. Had to scrub it off every time when I tried it.
