Jil Eau de Parfum, from Jil Sander was released in 2009. The perfumer behind this creation is Bruno Jovanovic and Olivier Polge. It has the top notes of Lavender, Pink Pepper, and Tangerine, middle notes of Heliotrope, Lily-of-the-Valley, and Orris Root, and base notes of Amber, Musk, and Vanilla.
JIL by Jil Sander is a heavy floral but mostly powdery scent, especially in the dry down. I feel a lot of Lily at the beginning, which is just too heavy for my nose, but after a few hours it settles down to a pretty and easy to wear scent. A creamy vanilla dry down, with some powdery notes of Iris and heliotrope. The lasting power is pretty good, I think a few drops of it are more than enough.
