It has the Same DNA, and I would give it 95% of how close it is. Arab perfumes and colognes have to be macerated, and it shows you on the bottom when it was made. Usually, if it took a month or two before you got it, I would say it should be good to go. If the month it is being made is close to when you bought it, I would spray it, keep it in a cool place, let it sit for a week or two, and then try again.
