To say that scent is similar to Dior Sauvage would be a disservice to Sauvage. There are subtle similarities. But, these are two very different scents. Asad has a powerful opening of pepper and iris. The scent dries down quickly. There is nowhere near the lasting power and projection that Sauvage has. The licorice note is also missing. It seems that Lattafa tried to chemically mimic the licorice scent, but it went in another direction. If you get this hoping to smell like Sauvage, save your money for Sauvage. If you want a decent scent that stands on its own, this is a safe play.
