Yes there are dupes to this but nothing beats the real deal. This stuff is absolutely amazing and it is quite literally apple pie in a bottle. I never stop reaching for this so if it is in your price range then it’s definitely worth the pickup.
It smells exactly like it’s described — cognac on the opening, dries to a warm, woody, cinnamon-vanilla. I don’t get anything else but it’s WAY too overpowering on the cognac for how strong it is. I smelled like I spilled whiskey on myself. I don’t know if it was just my skin chem disagreeing with it, but it’s very much not for me. I really, really wish I liked it more.
Have you tried to let is sit for a while? Maybe the alcohol is too strong after the bottle was in transport 🥲 I’m so sorry you don’t get to experience the apple pie 😢
I’ve had it now for about a year and unfortunately the alcohol is so overpowering 😭 I think the core notes may not agree with my skin either, apple can go kinda weird on me so that may be why I’m missing it. I love how much everyone else loves it, though!
