Great everyday scent. Quite manly.
Fresh, citrucy, a little bit fruity, earthy and woody.
Blind bought this from the hype. I am so disappointed. It’s very citrusy and very earthy. I just don’t think it’s appealing at all. I’ll keep in the collection but won’t buy again.
Open with a wonderful subtle sweet kind of pinny citrus note almost powdery its a pleasant scent not overwhelming at all. I sprayed 10 sprays the citrus hung around for a good 30 minutes. After an hour or so I was getting more of the woody notes still light pine/cedar scent. Its very well blended almost crisp/ bright simply appealing you want to keep smelling it. Projection it's not more than arms length perfect for gym or office setting. I can see this as a daily scent. Longevity wise no more than 6 hours on skin
Cedrat Boise opens with a punchy burst of synthetic fruitiness, with blackcurrant and lemon at the forefront. As it begins to dry down leather, cedar and ambiguous spices creep into the base which combines nicely with the sharp fruitiness. I’m not sure why people compare this to Aventus, I guess the combination of lemon and blackcurrant on a woody base reminds people of it. However to me they don’t smell alike, Cedrat Boise is far more synthetic with more fruitiness going on. It’s a pleasant scent and gets positive attention from those around you, however the performance has been gutted these days. Personally I think Mancera has far better fragrances to offer than this one, but it’s nice nonetheless.
Yes I can see the resemblance of sharper citrus, lemon & bergamot mixing with other fruit and berries smells in here to create a not far off pineapple type smell. However, having tried many Aventus clones or fragrances that truly have the same Pineapple note (Mazzzolari Nero) I have to say this isn't one of those. Not easily mistaken for Aventus in my opinion and as someone who is a great believer in the 'reminds me of...' option on here, I'm usually quick to concede that the majority of Fragranticans know better than me. However, I think in this case I think 65 Yes' is strongly misleading, especially as Cedrat Boise dries down and becomes less and less like the Creed at all. So what is it like? Well, after the fruity opening recedes it becomes a really nice masculine woody scent of cedar but upon a chunky base of patchouli and even a hint of vanilla just rounding everything out into a smooth, warm, feel good scent. I like it, lasts pretty well and smells manly enough, however the dry down does remind me quite heavily of a deodorant I had in the 90's. That's not a bad thing really but I'm not mad about this scent at the same time. I think it deserves the love it gets, just not for me.
Cedrat Boise is a must-try for anyone looking for a fresh yet sophisticated fragrance with great performance. It balances freshness, fruitiness, and woods in a way that feels both modern and timeless. While some may find the fruity opening a bit sharp, the elegant dry down more than makes up for it. A fantastic signature scent choice for those who appreciate citrus-woody fragrances with depth.
