This is one of my favorites for the summer time. Overall a very pleasant citrus scent for the summer with some nice florals hindered slightly by the performance. It opens with a burst of citrus, mostly orange and tangerine but I get a hint of lime. Dries down after about an hour to some very pleasant florals. The florals are what I think makes this a unisex fragrance, as the neroli and the other florals I would say lean a bit more masculine but can definitely be worn by a female. The florals are the heart of the fragrance and once they dry off I can’t really smell the listed base notes. It projects well for the first hour then tapers down to a weaker projection. I find that when I wear this it lasts about 6 hours. Obviously as a Tom Ford fragrance it is wildly overpriced for just 50 mL, but I would recommend this fragrance for the summer just due to how good it smells.
Super citrus forward but the lavender rosemary undertones are overwhelmed by the bowl of grapefruits shoved up my nose. A little too citrusy for me but it does smell nice.
By testing this one I’ve found out that I absolutely despise the smell of neroli…
It smells exactly like 4711, so I'm paying 250 times more (yes, I worked it out) simply for improved performance. I'd rather keep buying 1 litre of 4711 for 20 euros and carrying a little decant around.
Love at first sniff. An ephemeral summer stunner. Follow me on Instagram: @TheScentiest
I love neroli and the sharp beginning of citrus on this and it is nice smelling don't get me wrong but it is too close to the feminine end of the scale to be unisex. I think this fragrance is more suited to a more continental man than myself. Not everyone will agree with this statement I'm sure but for me this is the case. I'm still sniffing it out as I have a small sample left so maybe my thoughts will change? Thus far though this is my verdict. Update: This fragrance has a certain intoxicating quality to it and is amazingly fresh and uplifting but still not quite my cup of tea in terms of adding it to my collection.
