A fresh sweet almost aquatic vanilla that still has some warmth and depth to it. I used it while I was at university and found it was a great mood lifter and all-rounder. Nowadays discontinued, but a few bottles are still sold online.
Such an enchanting beautiful fragrance. A perfect balance between vanilla and gardenia. Cozy and also datenight worthy. It is Not owerpowering to me. The bottle is very chic too, this will most likely be my next purchase. So in love with this. 🩷
This scent smells to me like christmas cinnamon cookies. Although cinnamon is not listed in the notes, it does feel sweet and spicy, not so much milky. It might change in the drydown, but on paper it smells like a sweet dessert. Between this and Blanche Bete, I find Blanche Bete more milky, also easier to wear, without feeling overpowered or eventually nauseous from the sweetness that I get from smelling Bianco Latte. I can picture why it is popular in the gourmand scene, might be lovely on the right person during wintertime. ✨️
I do not get any powdery notes from this scent. As the name suggests, it is sweet. Feels like a plain vanilla scent with light rum notes maybe. Although it has a clean formular it does not come off as high quality or natural, kinda boring. Might be a love for someone else but does not impress me that much.
Mostly sandalwood with a background of vanilla and aromatic notes. It leans more masculine and might be more suitable for sandalwood-lovers. Not a hate, but I can not imagine wearing this either. Would say it is not a safe blind buy. I like that their fragrances have a clean formular though. 🙏
I am a huge Ex Nihilo fan and this one is among my favorites. It starts off with a blend of mandarin orange, powdery pepper and slight hints of Mimosa. Ylang Ylang is always in the background, and gives this scent depth and warmth from start until the end. The vanilla comes through a bit later and provides the sweetness. Vesper Glitz is an elegant scent, almost too chic to wear casually. It is great to wear for a special occassion or on a date. Very beautiful scent with nice lasting power, would be happy to have this in my collection one day.
This fragrance appears to be very popular for awhile now and I never understood the hype, as the notes did not sound like something I would usually try. But a few weeks ago I randomly tried some of the Byredo perfumes at the airport and the only one I liked, besides Gypsy Water, was Bal d'Afrique. The notes blend so well, so it creates this beautiful citrus/woody/floral scent. Very enchanting and I kept sniffing my arm. I see that this can be a safe blind buy but it might also smell different depending on how the notes work with the own chemistry.
Edit: After purchasing a travelsize and trying it again, I feel it is best testing a few times, as it smells different to me now as it used to upon first try. The aromatic and citrus notes are more prominent and I get hints of tea. Overall a scent that is pretty, but might not be for me and my preferance in the long run.
