A synthetic, potent yet soft musky citrus opening.

The aromatics and powdery florals almost make this smell sherbety.

Green woody undertones are trying to fight through the citrus bomb.

When this first hits I find it too synthetic, and I wouldn't say aldehydic but actually fizzy, however the longer it sits I do find myself wanting to smell it more.

Expensive for what it is, with a 100ml sitting currently at £330.

This is is absolutely beautiful, and as a flanker, it stands well away from the OG.

A really warm and boozy spicy cedar scent with sweet fruits and a soothing vanilla in the base.

The subtle aromatics and cinnamon make this absolutely perfect for cooler weather.

Dry, woody, smokey, a little Spicy, with tart fruits. A soft musk helps soften and blend.

I don't reach for this as much as I used to, but it's still an easy grab and go.

Vastly overpriced now, and would recommend a dupe instead.

If you're looking for a well priced and well performing twist on TF Tobacco Vanille, this is it. With the addition of Palo Santo here, the scent pyramid is identical.

Opening is really lovely spices with a soft vanilla and tobacco coming through well.

The spice intensity doesn't last too long ( I would like it if they did ) but they are still noticible throughout.

Once they soften you are greeted with the beautiful tobacco blossom and aromatic Tonka, with cacao.

Beautiful Palo Santo adds a fresh, aromatic woody note which helps balance the sweetness from vanilla and fruits.

After a few hours it's a beautiful, warm and smooth tobacco and vanilla.

A really great fragrance, comforting and familiar.

I've tried a few from Ritual Spirit and they're all great.

Want to get my hands on some more.

It's as complex as it is simple.

It's woody, aquatic, green, and very aromatic.

There's some sweetness and saltiness, but personally I would have preferred more of the salt note to cut through the intense aromatics.

A great summer scent, and one i consistently get asked about when wearing.

The wood and sweet rose is lifted by the green, almost citrusy note from the geranium.

The smoke adds a soft dark blanket round it all.

I want to say there's some leather here, and maybe Iso E, which I think would fit with the scent's story below, adding a further woody, and slightly metallic twinge to it.

When I was younger my grandparents lived in Acresford House in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. It was a large house and at times so cold we had to sleep under electric blankets. The bedrooms were referred to by colour, the purple room, the brown room etc. The downstairs was usually nice and warm thanks to the inglenook fireplace.

Behind the main hall was my grandad's workshop. It was adorned with wood and tools. At the centre was his lathe on which he would turn wood for chairs and tables. The air was filled with the scent of smoky wood shavings - a scent I hope you now recognise from your sample.

At the rear of the house was the pictured courtyard. My nan would tend to her flowers, now at the age of 102 with a bad hip - something she wishes she could still do. The scent of roses and geraniums filled the air. I also distinctly remember poppies growing next to the gate. You will now hopefully pick up the rose geranium at the heart of your sample.

These scents are so cemented in my memory that each time I spray Acresford Eau de Parfum, I will be transported back to those times

Opens with salt and pepper across smooth and creamy ink and ambergris.

It's warm with resins and delicately spiced with incense.

There's some sweetness and a little smoke.

Really lovely, not at all challenging.

This smells like a vintage perfume.

Fruity and floral across a depth of resinous leather, with warm furry animalics.

A modern take on something classic like Youth Dew.

As the scent settles it brightens up a little with citrus coming through.

It's comforting and sultry.

The pencil shavings twinge from ambroxan also adds a brightness.

It's an easy go to, but also easy to over do.

The Rose opens with a blast of Rich and jammy Bulgarian rose, a fruity sweetness, and that near chemically opening note of some ouds.

although not listed, this is very much a rose oud fragrance. It’s rich, indulgent, and smells as expensive as the price point. It does have some lifting freshness after the first few minutes once things start to settle.

its lovely, but it’s nothing new.

The oud note does settle after an hour into a fragrant wood and doesn’t dominate. There is a gentle green spicy from patchouli.

If you’re looking for a rose frag, definitely try this, but if you have a few you may struggle to justify it.
