A very marketable oud. The opening has a little metallic and medicinal twinge on my skin, maybe the saffron?

The passionfruit is bright and sweet with a little tang and stays throughout the scent.

A lovely fruity oud, with warm balsamic notes, hits of leathery rose.

Although the notes don't suggest it, this is very much a barbershop style aromatic fougère.

The woods are soft, warm, and creamy. There's smooth spice from Tonka, and some warmth from the rum, without the boozy hit.

There are fresh aromatic and herbal notes throughout.

Fresh and soft, yet warm and inviting.

Really pleasing scent in my opinion.

Opens incredibly fruity, almost to the point of overripe. The florals are prominent too.

There is a waxy, creamy, salty quality almost like ambergris. The aromachemicals used to give the marine salt water vibes do come across a little synthetic, but I'm not particularly bothered by that.

There is no other word but tropical.

I don't mean it negatively, but it can come across like a fresh tropical dryer sheet at times.

It's heavy but fresh, sweet but salty, fruity but floral. There is so much going on here it's difficult to discern anything specific most of the time, but I definitely get banana peeking through.

There is resinous warmth and balsamic smoothness underneath it all.

I think it definitely needs to be summer to wear this. It needs some heat and humidity to radiate from.

The picture I'm painted with Panda is a triptych.

In the first scene, it is green. Bitingly green.

The bamboo is fresh, green, and aquatic. It adds a humidity to the opening. Paired with the sharp and sour citrus, spicy Sichuan pepper, and bitter green tea, it really is a wake-up call.

I don't get much in the way of pissy musk here like I've seen others mention.

I do get fruits here too. Something sharp like pineapple. Interesting as they don't naturally eat fruits, but do in captivity. Maybe another facet to the story.

In the second scene, it is brown.

The forest floor is covered in leaves. Aided by footsteps and humidity, the leaves are breaking down, leaving a damp, eathy, and mossy layer behind.

In the third scene things turn dry.

The Panda has moved on. What we're left with is a lingering musk.

There are prominent florals and woods, with the Haitian vetiver in particular giving a very dry, slightly smokey scent. There is lingering sweetness and smoke from incense.

Maybe I'm trying to make it too fantastical, but could this be the rare occasion where the bamboo flowers and dies back leaving the Panda no option but to move on in search of more food? Who knows.

If you want green. This is it.

Sweet dried fruits, and resinous opening with almost medicinal citrus from the Olibanum.

Woody notes and spices come in soon after with a warm and furry animalic musk.

The rose comes across softly and a little waxy, like Malle's Lipstick Rose.

The resins and incense here really sing but well composed. A balsamic ambery warmth accompanies.

This smells like what I'd imagine a desert market to smell like. Dried fruits, spices, resins and flowers in wooden boxes baking in the sun. The camels are nearby, their fur warming.

A truly beautiful take on an oriental fragrance.

Opening is bright, fresh and woody.

As it sits, it quickly softens into a powdery, slightly woody Palo Santo scent with amber and ambroxan.

After an hour or so it's recognisable as You DNA, but fresher and brighter from Palo Santo, with soft floral buttery violet.

Fruity, Sweet, creamy, fresh, woody and spicy.

An easy grab and go, great for warm weather.

Opens with rich, jammy fig, spicy cardamom and resinous cistus, which together give it an almost boozy, liqueur-like warmth.

That booziness fades fairly quickly, allowing the black tea to bring a dark, slightly dry aromatic edge that cuts beautifully through the sweetness. It settles into creamy fig, smooth woods and soft vanilla.

Deep, sensual, completely enveloping and genuinely addictive to smell. I nursed a 2ml sample for a year before finally buying a full bottle — that probably says it all

Warm, sweet, smooth and balsamic.

Beautiful honey tobacco, lots of soft resinous warmth, smoothing vanilla, with patchouli adding a little tingle of green spice.

An interesting scent that I find hard to place an occasion for.

On my skin, the herbal, aromatic notes are very forward making it almost savoury. The artesmia mixed with white wine and citrussy notes are by far most prominent. The mix of them is giving me a slight metallic note like pencil shavings. Maybe it's Iso E, maybe it's brain trickery.

I'm not getting much sweetness, but a delicate incense is trying to peek through.

After 3 hours the aromatic notes have softened just a bit, but the wine and artesmia notes are still dominant over any balsamic warmth I expected.
