I'm sure you all remember Wavechild, the Watermelon & Coconut mix, and the way it appealed to the perfume community last year. Room 1015's newest release is somewhat about riding that "wave", as Jasmine Freak is a vacation scent, full of luscious fruits and extravagant white florals.
Jasmine Freak
What Jérôme Di Marino created, is a rich blend of spice, sweetness and fruitiness, heavy with Jasmine and intoxicating, bubblegum-y Tuberose.
But it's not all "tropical fruits cocktail" or a "cream soda" - when the fragrance dries down a little, it starts to envelop your skin like a velvet shawl. It's now sophisticated and reminiscent of Armani Prive Rouge Malachite, if it were mixed with mango pulp.
The Top Notes are: Black Currant, Mango, Orange and Pepper
The Middle Notes are: Jasmine, Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang
The Base Notes are: Cashmere wood, Musk
Have you already had a chance to smell Jasmine Freak? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
